20 Weeks

How far along: 20 Weeks
Total weight gain: 7 lbs. - Wahooooo!!!
Maternity clothes: Nope, not yet!
Stretch marks: Nope!
Sleep: Pretty good most nights. Just waking up to use the restroom every hour, lol.
Best moment of this week: Having her 20 week ultrasound and seeing her wiggle around. The UT said she was very well behaved and she was able to get all the measurements she needed without any trouble. She was moving her mouth and squirming around the whole time It as so amazing...even to watch her kick my bladder relentlessly! But the best news of all is that she is right on target and perfectly growing!

Miss anything:  Not having to use the restroom every 2 min., lol
Movement: No:( The Dr. and UT say that I have an anterior placenta. It is acting like a pillow between her and the front of my stomach so when she kicks, I feel nothing. They said the placenta may eventually move or when she grows large enough that the kicks are much stronger, I may feel her then... but until then I don't need to worry that Im not feeling her.
Food cravings: Nothing in particular.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Very rarely anymore thankfully!
Have you started to show yet: Definitly!!!
Gender:  Still a girl!!!!!
Labor signs: Nope:)
Belly button in or out: In
Wedding rings on or off: On
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy!!!!
Looking forward to: Now that the BIG appt is behind us, I think it'll be fun to register and start putting the nursery together!

18/19 Weeks

How far along: 18/19 Weeks
Total weight gain: 5 lbs now!!!
Maternity clothes: I have one pair of maternity legging that I wore in this picture for the first time!!!
Stretch marks: Nope!
Sleep: Pretty well most of the time... but I do wake up many times a night but fall asleep again pretty quickly!
Best moment of this week: Diana came home! Two of my dearest friends had to move to Brazil for a few months due to a family illness. (Please keep their family in your prayers) One of them is from Brazil but his wife is not. So after 2 months she decided to let him finish out the month helping his parents while she came and got life going in the states again.  She told only me that she was coming and I picked her up the day before Halloween. On Halloween I told all of our friends I wanted to have a Halloween gathering so they all came over and we surprised them with the fact that Diana was back a little early. It was so wonderful to have her home but we still wont be complete until Max gets home in Dec.!
Miss anything:  Still nothing that I can think of.

Movement: Still nothing...not even a flutter!
Food cravings: Nothing really. Still prefer to eat a good ol' meat and three but I don't necessarily 'crave' it.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not anything specific. I still feel queasy on occasion but nothing specific sets it off.
Have you started to show yet: This is officially the week that I popped! In fact the day I picked Diana up from the airport I noticed that I was significantly larger than I had been any day before!
Gender:  Girl!!!
Labor signs: Nope:)

Gender Reveal Shower

My best friend and I are both pregnant and only 6 days apart! This has been so fun to share with her! Since we have been friends for so long our families have become friends as well. We thought it would be so much fun to have a joint gender reveal...and it was!!!! We used a bee theme and revealed to  our families at the same time!

We got these invitations from tinyprints.com and could have loved them more! They were printed on shimmer paper  really gave the elegant and vintage feel that we really wanted. I have ordered other things from Tiny Prints before and have never been disappointed with their work and they come in the mail really quick! I highly suggest looking into them for any party invites, announcements, or Christmas  Cards you may be designing coming up!

Back to the party though! So we had everyone place a bet in one of two jars for each couple (boy or girl). You stuck a sticker with your name on the dollar (it is illegal to write directly onto the dollar!)  and placed it in the jar that you guessed the gender would be. We gave hints by framing a chart that told what Old Wives' Tales predicted we would be having. It was really fun to read through everyone's guesses after the party.

So once everyone had placed their bets, we asked everyone to step outside for the big reveal! We had gender colored confetti and streamers in wrapped boxes that we would open at the same time to reveal the gender of our future children! What I loved most about this was that from the balcony we could see everyone's reactions!!! It was such a special moment!

Wahooooooooo!!! Girl for the Frey's (us) and Boy for the Snyder's!!!
